Abstract

Optical systems can be analyzed in terms of geometrical or diffractive optics. The diffraction integral of wave propagation depends on elements of transfer ray matrix that describe an optical system. The article discusses relationship presenting a diffraction integral for some holographic system written in terms of transfer ray matrix.
